How to turn any game into a Classroom / Team Game

Many of the games that have been designed are suited to be played by individuals. But, as you may well know, playing in a team against your friends provides so much more fun.

Here are a few ways you can turn most smartboard games into a classroom game.

All Show to Play
1. Divide your class into two or more teams.
2. The main task / question gets displayed on the smartboard
3. Every team needs to write their answer on a piece of paper
4. The answer is displayed on the smartboard and all teams have to reveal their answer
5. Add points to the scoreboard for all correct answers

Nominate a hero
1. Divide your class into two or more teams.
2. Each team nominates a hero to perform the task on the smartboard
3. All team members line up at the smartboard and one by one complete a task on the smartboard
4. Add points to the scoreboard for all correct anwers

Stump the Panel
1. 3 Leaders get elected and stand at the front of the classroom
2. Students from the classroom challenge a leader at the front
3. The two students have to complete a smartboard task
4. Whoever wins, remains as a leader (on the panel), whoever loses goes back to the main classroom
5. The 3 leaders that are there at the end of the lesson are the winners
